The Men’s Club is a parish sponsored organization, open to all men of the parish over the age of 21, which provides opportunities to participate in projects which serve the needs of the parish, the school, and the physical, mental, and spiritual development of our children. This is accomplished by utilizing our talents in the following areas:

Athletics – The Men’s club provides the organization and operational authority to the athletic programs of the parish and the school concession stand.

Fall Soccer (boys and girls, grades K thru 8th)
Fall Volleyball (boys and girls, grades 4th thru 8th)
Winter Basketball (boys and girls, grades 3rd thru 8th)
Spring Baseball/Softball (boys and girls, grades K thru 8th)
Cheerleading during winter basketball season for grades 7th and 8th
Spring Adult Volleyball League (over 21)
Some juvenile leagues are also available for high school students through the St. Charles County Catholic Youth Association (CYA) and Catholic Youth Council St. Charles District (CYC)

Please contact Scott Barton at (314) 397-4634 or sbarton62@charter.net for more information regarding the St. Cletus Sports Program.

Service – Either by ourselves or in conjunction with other parish organizations, the Men’s Club assists with the maintenance of the church, school, and property and operation of various parish functions such as the annual Parish Picnic, Lenten Fish Fries, etc.

Stewardship - The Men’s Club recognizes that all of our blessings are a gift from God, and as such, we should return a portion of our time, talents and treasures in gratitude. This includes our Sunday Breakfasts which benefit the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Adopt- a-family at Christmas, scholarships to the graduating 8th grade class, and several other charity works.

Community – By meeting and breaking bread together, we allow individuals to serve the church together, develop new friendships, and support each other in our faith.

Men’s Club Functions:

Adult Volleyball League – Growing every year, the league is open to anyone over the age of 21 and includes two divisions: the Hops and the Jocks.  As part of the league, there is a mid-season all star game as well as a season-ending awards dinner banquet and dance. The league typically starts in March and goes thru June. This is a great way to meet other parents and parishioners.

Golf Scramble – Typically held in May, this tournament fills up fast with both men’s and women’s teams. Held at St. Peters Golf Course, it includes lunch and dinner plus refreshments. A silent auction is held during dinner.

Men’s Club Meetings:

General meetings – Second Tuesday of each month in the school cafeteria

Refreshments start at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Next Meeting: March 9th
